Terms of Service & Commercial License

1. API License & Commercial Usage
Subject to these Terms and your active subscription tier, FoodVivo grants you a worldwide, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to integrate and query our API endpoints for commercial and consumer application development.
2. Rate Limits & Fair Usage
Developers agree not to deliberately circumvent API rate limits, initiate Denial of Service (DoS) attacks, or reverse-engineer our proprietary Atwater 4-4-9 thermodynamic verification models.
3. Service Level Agreements (SLA)
Our Developer, Growth, and Scale plans include a 99.99% uptime commitment backed by Anycast Cloudflare edge replication. Planned maintenance is announced at least 48 hours in advance via our Status page.
4. Medical Disclaimer
FoodVivo provides nutritional estimations and caloric decomposition based on standardized USDA reference data. While highly accurate, the API is not a medical device and should not replace individualized medical advice for critical conditions.
